Bestiary:Anghorl

The anghorl is a nomadic herbivore that wanders the Stormlands in herds of 6 to 10. They are a cave dwelling creature that feeds off of whatever nutrition they can find, whether it be roots, fungi, or moss. When they clean out an entire system, they move on to the next, typically staying within a certain mountain range.

To assist them in their travels across the Stormlands, their bodies are beset by heavy scaly armor, culminating in a large crest on their heads, which act as a plate of sorts. From head to tail, these creatures have thick rocky armor, protecting their otherwise vulnerable skin. Their underside doesn't retain this armor, exposing their flesh.

Despite being nomadic, the anghorl are extremely territorial of their immediate surroundings. They emit a loud growling noise to warn others that may be getting too close to their herd. However, these creatures can be domesticated when separated for a time from other anghorl, to prevent these natural protective urges.
