Bjorn Ettinslayer is a dwarf priest who was first met in Ashtol, Darthuria. He was seen as the de-facto leader of the village and spiritual guide at the local temple of Pelor.

During Jareth Belmont's tyranny over the small village, Bjorn acted as a emissary between Ashtol and its vampiric overlord, tiding Belmont with offers of labor and sustenence in exchange for their lives. When the Simple party ousted Belmont, a large feast was held in their honor with Bjorn speaking of the greatness of their liberators.

In private, Bjorn gifted Malachor with part of the destroyed altar to Pelor that lay in town. Unbeknownst to the both of them, this would be revealed to be a great artifact that was once wielded by Pelor himself as a shield during the Dawn War.

When Alluviel took the throne in Darthuria, Bjorn met and allied with other heroes in the country. Along with Sigfried, Caro, Welljinx, and Melond, the five of them took the fight to Alluviel and her Society allies. However, they were not enough and they were forced to flee the country and surrender to the overwhelming forces of the Society. In the last battle against the Scorned Queen's forces, Bjorn lost his left arm.

Currently, he and the others are staying within the walls of Dalthir while they plan their next action.
